Compassion in Action for Hawai‘i’s Community Cats

Cat Colony Caregivers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment, management, and advocacy of community cats across the Hawaiian Islands. Since our founding, we’ve made a lasting impact on the lives of thousands of cats—spaying and neutering feral populations, supporting local caregivers, and helping prepare adoptable felines for loving homes.

Our work helps reduce overpopulation, ease the burden on local shelters, and protect Hawai‘i’s fragile ecosystems. And none of it would be possible without strong partnerships—with local businesses, government agencies, and fellow animal welfare organizations.

Board Members

Stephanie Wright

Stephanie Wright foster mom extraordinaire and animal advocate. Stephanie has a full time job as a lobbyist and travels back and forth to Washington. When she flys on Alaska Airlines and she has the space and time Stephanie will take two kittens, under her seat , in the cabin, to the mainland to be fostered and adopted.

Linda Lau

Animal advocate and TNR specialist.
Linda is the “go to trapper for multiple cats”. She is a foster mom with several “found” kittens in her home catio. Linda has been trapper for many years and has contact names and numbers and property owners of feeders in designated City and County state properties and private properties.

Chris Thompson

Chris Thompson owner of Lucky Paws animal foundations and Cat resort. Their passion is working to reduce over population and suffering of animals on Oahu by using humane method of trap neuter release, manage the outdoor cat colonies of Free roaming cats.

Phyliss Hiramatsu

Phyliss Hiramatsu over 25 managing fostering and caregiving to a large colony of free roaming cats in a public area.  Phyliss and her friend June and Sybil are the go to people to get information and names of new additions to the colony of cats that show up in a public area dumped by ill informed people that believes that it’s OK to burden others with their cat problems

Randy is an animal welfare advocate within the Hawaiian Islands who’s engaged with multiple organizations.
