Join Us in Creating a Compassionate Future for Hawai‘i’s Community Cats

At Cat Colony Caregivers, we believe it takes a community to care for a colony. Whether you’re a lifelong animal lover or simply looking to make a meaningful impact in your neighborhood, there’s a place for you in our ʻohana.

We offer a variety of ways to get involved—each one playing a vital role in promoting the humane care and management of cat colonies across the islands.

Volunteer Opportunities

Give your time and talent where it matters most. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and skill levels.

Ways you can help:

Assist with TNRM (Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage) efforts

Provide support at feeding stations and colony care sites

Help with transportation to vet appointments or spay/neuter clinics

Volunteer at community events, workshops, or tabling opportunities

Offer your skills in photography, admin, outreach, or education

Foster a Feline Friend

We occasionally support socialized cats and kittens in need of temporary homes before connecting them to trusted adoption partners. If you have a quiet, loving space and some extra time, fostering can be a rewarding way to help a cat transition to a better life.

We’ll provide basic supplies and guidance to help you succeed.

Be an Advocate

You don’t have to be in the field to make a difference. Help us amplify our mission through:

Sharing our posts and flyers on social media

Hosting a mini info session in your neighborhood or workplace

Reaching out to local leaders to support humane cat management policies

Donating supplies or raising funds for medical care and TNRM

Partner With Us

Are you a local business, nonprofit, or government agency looking to make an impact? Let’s work together. We’re always open to:

Collaborative community events

In-kind donations or sponsorships

Educational partnerships with schools or youth programs

Joint efforts in conservation and ecological education

Ready to Make a Difference?

Whether you have an hour a week or a few days a month, your support means the world to the cats—and to us.

Together, we’re not just managing colonies—we’re building a movement of care, compassion, and community across Hawai‘i.
